Dr. Kurt Berlin first pursued a scientific career at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics, where he co-founded the company Epigenomes with Alexander Olek. He was responsible for the scientific strategy, as well as licensing and business development. Kurt negotiated the company´s global license and collaboration agreements. In 2008 he joined PHORMS as CEO of its acquisition-focused subsidiary and completed four takeover negotiations. Under his leadership, the company managed the turn-around of its first acquisition, Heidelberg International School. He is Co-Founder of Nobel Education Network and now the owner of a kindergarten chain of schools in Germany.
