Hisham is an experienced IB educator with 14 years of experience between teaching and leading in different International Baccalaureate schools. He started his career as a PYP/MYP teacher and throughout his career has worked as an SEN teacher, coach for Arabic teachers and Curriculum Continuum coordinator for language between (PYP & MYP).
He also works as a volunteer for many pilot governmental school projects which are beginning to implement the PYP, like EIS in Egypt. His knowledge of the IB programs and also about the nature of many national curriculums enables him to align between the IB standers and practices and the MOE requirements at many of middle east countries.
Hisham has a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and a Bachelor of Arabic Literatures and Islamic studies from Dar al-Ulum Cairo University. Hisham is an IBEN member; he is a certified IBPYP Workshop Leader, IBPYP school visitor, and online facilitator. He has led several workshops in the region and has input on the KFF project in Saudi Arabia. Over the years he has taken part in many IBPYP authorization and evaluation visits in the Middle East.
